Summer 2017 GCSE Results for Winchcombe School

We are delighted to record another successful year at Winchcombe School, continuing our upward trend which sees the school as being well above national average.
Headline figures include:
• 64% of students have achieved the equivalent of 5 or more GCSEs, including English/Maths, at grade A*-C
• For the fourth consecutive year, Winchcombe students have achieved a record number of A*s, including the new grade 9 and 8 in English and Maths. The number of A*s has doubled since 2014.
• The percentage of A*-C in English continues to be above national average at 76.4%.
• We are delighted with a significant increase in Mathematics, with 80.0% achieving A*-C (Grade 4+) of which 21.6% of the students achieved A*-A.
