Grade: NJC 5 (points 11-14)

Salary: £25,979 – £27,334 (FTE)- approx. £19,519 minimum starting salary pro rata including holiday pay

Hours: 32.5 hours per week – Mon-Fri term-time only

Start date: September 2024

We’re looking for a Pastoral Support Lead to join our friendly team, whose aim is to motivate and support students at our School. The positive mental health and well-being of all students in our school is paramount.  Some students find the daily challenges of school more difficult than others; do you have the skills, ideas and strategies to help them?

Our school’s motto is ‘Achieving Success Together’, and the Support Centre is in place to ensure that all students reach their full potential by identifying and reducing any barriers to learning. The community ethos of our school works to nurture our pupils (11-16 mixed comprehensive) to develop into confident individuals.

You will need good organisational skills and to be able to prioritise your workload, ensure strict deadlines are met and adhere to the SEND Code of Practice. It is vital that you can deal with challenges that occur on a day-to-day basis. You will also be able to maintain utmost confidentiality and liaise with parents and external agencies in a professional manner.
